Our Story
Duty To Assist was founded after experiencing firsthand the frustration of navigating the VA claims process. After navigating the system pro se — without a VSO, without an attorney — and winning, we knew other veterans deserved the same tools and knowledge.
The VA system is broken in specific, documented ways. VSOs are often unhelpful or disinterested. Law firms take up to 33% of back pay. Veterans are left alone against an institutional machine. We built this platform to change that.
